i want to experience university life and their ways of teaching. Moreover i
am very interested in biotechnology.hence i would want to know more about
the subject so that i would be able to decide whether i want to take it in
the future as a university course. Thus i hope that i would learn many things
on this trip=)

I expect to learn more indepth about the subject i'm taking, which is History. From what i can gather about the course given by ReachCambridge, its going to be a fun filled course. Excursions to booster the fun factor and also a form of relaxation in teaching. Also, thankfully the course of History is relevant to our H2 History course, so i hope that it will help with my Promos. I also hope to improve my english with the general atmosphere there being very English XD. Making new penpals from the various students who attend the Summer School from all over the world.
if i can learn the methods they use to study effectively over at cambridge, then i would gladly learn and bring that back to PJC so as to futher help my fellow school mates how to study effectively.

To get more exposure on university education and to learn more about the
history and culture of Cambridge university. I hope we'll have a great time
learning from the lessons and great excursions and come back with better
insight in the subject I'm taking.

I hope to expose myself to the environment of a top foreign university. It is a rare opportunity for me to learn more about Cambridge University. It would be an invaluable experience to interact with the best students from all around the world and learn more about their studying environment. Besides these, I also expect to learn more about biotechnology through the course I am attending and hopefully this extra knowledge would help me in the subjects I study in PJC.
I will share with my peers what I have learnt during the trip so that more can benefit from this trip. This includes what I found out about life at Cambridge University and the extra knowledge I acquired about biotechnology.

Learning to be independent and not constantly relying on my parents is one of the objectives of this trip. Besides, strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are valuable things which I hope to bring back. Of course, I would definitely expect a totally different kind of study environment and a whole new experience. Though a little apprehensive about the unexpected situations I maybe in, I’m feeling positive towards this trip and I’m really looking forward to it!!!

Going to Cambridge will give me a feel of how the education system is over the other side of the globe. It will all me to work with students from a different countries and interact with them. It will also help me improve myself as a person having to tend to my needs myself without the help and guidance of my parents. It will be and eye opener and hopefully by the end of the trip I will be able to look back and be proud of my achievements. I can’t wait!
